India Quarterly TV Model Tracker, Q1 2018 – Q4 2024
Overview: India’s smart TV market saw a decline of 5% YoY during Q4 2024, due to the underwhelming consumer demand during and after the festive period sales, on account of the prevailing economic and inflationary situation. Apart from that, brands also reduced their promotions and discounts, which also impacted the sale. Most of the brands saw a sequential de-growth during the quarter. Samsung was the leading player, followed by LG and Xiaomi. QLED is becoming a prominent display technology in the market, with its penetration increased to more than 13% of the shipments during the quarter. Apart from that, MiniLED backlight is also gaining traction among the OEMs to differentiate their product. This report analyses the shipments of TVs splitting them into ASPs, price bands, and revenues along with channel and category split. It also includes model and specs level analysis.
