India Quarterly TV Model Tracker, Q1 2018 - Q1 2025

0
June 10, 2025

Overview: India’s smart TV shipments decreased by 8% YoY in Q1 2025. The prevailing economic challenges with inflationary pressures, and reduced consumer demand have led to a market slowdown. The shipments of large display size and premium TVs will be increasing further, driven by consumer’s preference for these TVs. QLED display technology will see further increase in penetration, and brands will be adopting more MiniLED backlight to offer enhanced visual experience. The demand for ultra large screen TVs (85” and above) is increasing and mid-tier brands are launching TVs at lower price range compared to their leading global counterparts.
